Placing Holds

LSU students and faculty.may place holds on items in our library. When you place a hold, library staff will be notified and will retrieve the item from the shelf. You may pick up the item at the Access Services desk when it is ready. Please allow two or more business days for the hold to be processed. A Hold Pickup Notice will be sent to your LSU email when the item is available.

If LSU Libraries is unable to provide the requested item, you will be notified via email within two days, and an InterLibrary Loan request will be initiated on your behalf.
